Painting workshops
Think you can’t learn to paint? Think again!
A wise man once said, “Talent is a Pursued Interest.”
It is true that anything can be learned if you are willing to put forth the time and effort required to master it.
Johnny’s story
When the mortgage market crashed in 2022, I was given a choice. I could leave my job as a mortgage loan originator and take a completely different position, or I could leave the credit union. I wondered how many times I would have to reinvent myself. I chose an early retirement. If I was going to reinvent myself, it would be somewhere else, and it would have to be for something special. When I discovered Bill Alexander, I caught his passion for painting majestic landscapes.
I started with no talent. And, even with training, I had many setbacks and struggles, and I understand very well the difficulty of learning this craft. There are so many little things that can trip you up, especially as a beginning painter. But I am living proof that it can be done, and I would be happy to teach you the things I have learned along the way.
Bill also said, “God has given you creative power on that canvas!” The motto of Alexander Art is “You can paint, we promise!” You can believe it. I do!
